Keep reading!! – This post is fun and interesting, and has an ironic twist that will surely stir the skeptic in you to believe that there are no coincidences! Read on ...

I’m a number cruncher, so the analyst in me had a bit of fun with this one. We have all heard the expression “there are no coincidences,” so not too long ago, I thought I’d put this axiom to the test.

I began to think about things that are part of our daily life and whether there might be secret meanings or messages to them. As I pondered more deeply, I paused on the word ‘worry’ since it’s something that we all tend to do. Recognizing that there’s a bit of a numerologist in all of us, I decided to have some fun in my quest to test whether there are secrets that the universe is hiding in plain sight by employing simple math. Before I began, I reflected for a moment and asked myself,

“Could it be possible that something so common as the word ‘worry’ could actually have some sort of profound hidden message?”

What I discovered not only surprised me, but brought a smile to my face because I couldn’t help but to think about all the times that I’ve heard or read the axiom that “there are no coincidences,” and dismissed the idea as a mere passing thought. Well, the outcome of my test made a believer out of me!

Start with the word: WORRY

Keep the first and last letters: W and Y.

O is the 15th letter of the alphabet.

R is the 18th letter of the alphabet.

W

O = 1 5

R = 1 8

R = 1 8

Y

* * * * * * * *

Summing the individual digits, we get:

W

1 + 5 = 6

1 + 8 = 9

1 + 8 = 9

Y

* * * * * * * *

Summing the results from the prior section we get:

W

6 + 9 + 9 = 2 4

Y

* * * * * * * *

Taking the product of the two digits, 2 and 4 we get:

W

2 x 4 = 8

Y

* * * * * * * *

W

The 8th letter of the alphabet is H.

Y

* * * * * * * *

WORRY’s secret message: WHY

There truly are no coincidences! It seems like even the word WORRY itself is trying to teach us a lesson – all we have to do is creatively rewire the way we think to attain the peace that accompanies the wisdom of:

WHY WORRY?
